Recently Listed: Catch Repos Before They Trend

HoodScan added a Recently Listed feed, a rolling lane for new arrivals that cleared vetting but have not yet climbed the rankings. It sits beside the top-50 leaderboard and shows fresh Robinhood Chain projects days before they earn a visible rank.

The idea is simple: the scanner already watches 71 repositories and indexes 50, so the newest confirmed arrivals get their own lane before scores have time to accumulate.

What the Feed Shows

Three recent arrivals show the pattern.

labrinyang/lp-terminal, krillintel/krill and itsfriedpotato/potatopad all landed in the feed recently. Each entered with a HoodScan Score, a category tag and a tier label, the same metadata every indexed project carries. None had a meaningful rank on day one.

The feed exists because rankings lag reality. The HoodScan Score combines stars, activity, tier and community boosts, and those signals take time to build. A repo can be interesting on the day it is indexed and still sit low in the table for weeks.

Recently Listed removes that delay. New entries surface in arrival order rather than score order, so a repo that cleared vetting an hour ago is as visible as one that has been indexed for a month.

Why the Early Window Matters

For alpha hunters the early window is the point. By the time a repo trends, everyone has seen it. The feed shows candidates while attention is scarce, and the free Boost, one per repo per day, no wallet needed, lets early readers add a signal to the score.

The window matters here because attention concentrates fast. The Markets tab tracks live Robinhood Chain DEX pools via GeckoTerminal, refreshed every 60 seconds: USDG did $106M in 24h volume, CASHCAT $23M, VIRTUAL $14M, TENDIES $9.6M. Tools serving that flow can rank quickly.

Projects that catch one of those currents climb the board fast, and the earliest public snapshot of them is the feed.

Getting listed is not automatic. The scanner has crawled 71 repositories around Robinhood Chain and indexed 50; 26 are tier-1, built directly for the chain. Farmed star-bot repos are filtered out before they reach the index, so a listing is itself a signal.

How Listings Get In

Every candidate passes through the same pipeline. The scanner sorts repos into categories including DeFi, Trading Bots, SDKs and Tools, RWA and Stocks, AI and Agents, and Chain Core, then checks activity and provenance before anything is indexed.

Tier is assigned at listing time. Tier-1 status is reserved for projects built directly for the chain, and that weighting feeds the HoodScan Score from day one.

A listing is not an endorsement. It means the repo is real, active and relevant to the chain. What it becomes from there depends on the score inputs: stars, activity, tier and boosts.

How to Use It

The workflow is short. Check the feed, open a listing, read the repo, and boost the ones worth tracking. Boosts are free, capped at one per repo per day, and need no wallet, so backing an early call costs nothing.

For scale, the current top of the board is robinhood/faust at 6,824 stars and a score of 137. Every ranked project entered through the same door, and the distance between a fresh listing and a ranked one is where the information sits.

Watch the feed before you watch the rankings. The board tells you what already happened; Recently Listed tells you what might happen next.
